Code Sharing Software

Author

Hello! My name is Tim Musschoot. I'm a junior Software Engineer who graduated in July 2002. Back in 1997 I started learning Visual C++. You can say I kinda liked it, because it was the start of my carreer. After getting bored of creating simple hello world applications (in real world it was a Backup program), I moved to database applications. Because database applications alone are pretty boring, I added a little complexity. In Januari 2000, a Traffic Planner was born...

These days I read an article on webbased applications. I thought it was pretty interesting and I learned ASP. I started creating ASP applications on demand and realized you could get payed to do so (imagine... where is the world going to: you get payed to create software ... that others can download on warez sites...) In fact, I must have liked it that much, that I founded my own multi-million (monopoly)dollar company. At last I could decide how much they would pay me, instead of getting payed the minimal rate (7.5$ an hour).

About one year, and a few billions, later, I thought : "Why shouldn't I try to share my knowledge about ASP and Application Development with fellow interested people?". I started writing articles on ASP and related (XML, ADO, ...) for ASPNL (www.aspnl.com). Meanwhile I got familiar with the .NET principles (ASP.NET, C#) and these subjects were introduced in my articles. In April 2002 I started writing English articles for the AspAlliance. This is the stuff you'll find on this site.

If you're interested in knowing more about me (something I really advise against), you can send me a mail here. Only mail me for serious nonsense please !
