Just finished an article for microsoft.com on upgrading from SQL 7.0 to SQL 2000 and thought I would share some of my research links.

The SQL 2000 focus is reliability. On the high end, fail-over cluster awareness is a big new deal. For us average citizens, the enhanced admin tools are pretty cool. (Can you get excited about being able to run and debug your T-SQL code on the fly? C'mon, if anything about SQL is exciting, this has to be it!)
